1. Qigong Student Feedback
* [Nov. 7, 2001] I wanted to let Qigong Master Qinyin know that while listening to Qigong CD: as I was visualizing white lotuses I suddenly felt very sad and longed to be there...as though it reminded me of home. Tears flowed for a little while. I felt alright after. (Arleen, San Mateo, CA)

2. Qigong Story: How Did Jiuhua Become A Buddhist Mountain
As the story goes, hundreds of
years ago, Earth Store Bodhisattva, known for his sacred vow not to
claim Buddhahood until the hell is empty, was reincarnated into a Korean
prince. Yet he had no desire to rule besides his dedication to Buddhist practice.
He left
In a few years, his fame grew and spreaded to the ears of a rich landlord who was very sick. The landlord came to him for help. The disease, alas, was due to "cause and result". Earth Store Bodhisattva said, "I can heal your disease, but there is a condition". The landlord claimed to be willing to give up everything. Earth Store Bodhisattva said, "I just need a place to stay and practice." The landlord asked, "How large shoud this place be?" Earth Store Bodhisattva replied, "The place is neith large nor small. It shall be as big as my Buddhist robe." The landlord agreed right away, thinking "how big could a Buddhist robe be?"
The landlord's disease was healed quickly. It was now time to fulfill his promise. The landlord stood dumbfound to watch Earth Store Bodhisattva taking his robe off and throwing it away, away, away. It soon circled the whole Jiuhua Mountain. Since then Jiuhua became one of the four Buddhist holy mountains in China (the other three are Puto, Emei and Wutai). Until today, many high level monks, nuns and hermits practice in Jiuhua. Some achieved enlightenment with their bodies intact years after they passed away.
[Note] During April 8-21, 2002, Master Qinyin will lead a Qi Journey to China, visiting many sacred energy areas including Jiuhua Mountain. We are hopeful to witness the "Golden Bodies" of those who achieved enlightenment at Jiuhua. You are welcome to join us.
